Fabian Brown

Fabian Brown played a leading role in kickstarting the Tennant Creek Brio artist collective with Rupert Betheras in 2016. ‘I always knew I was an artist; I’m a creative’, says Brown. As a young boy, Brown was inspired to start painting and drawing after watching his eldest brother sketching. Primarily a painter, Brown’s work is visionary, characterised by a bold and lyrical figurative style that imaginatively blends Aboriginal, archetypal and pop cultural imagery and references.
